Shortwave

Shortwave is an AI-powered email client for Gmail and Google Workspace. It combines a fast, modern inbox with an AI assistant that can search your entire email history, summarise threads, write replies in your voice and help you organise your inbox.

You can ask the AI questions such as "what did the client say about the deadline?" and get answers with links to the original emails. Shortwave groups related emails into bundles, lets you treat email like a to-do list, and offers scheduling, reminders and team collaboration features such as shared threads and comments. It runs on the web, desktop and mobile.

Good fit if you: use Gmail heavily and want AI to help you find, write and organise email faster.
Less ideal if you: use Outlook or another non-Google email provider.

Pricing: free plan; paid plans add more AI usage and team features.
