Write a layered explainer of {COMPLEX TOPIC} in the "5 levels" format — each level true, none
contradicting the others, each adding resolution.
LEVEL 1 — CHILD (5yo): one everyday analogy, 3 sentences, zero jargon.
LEVEL 2 — TEENAGER: the actual mechanism in plain words, 5–6 sentences, one "huh, cool" fact.
LEVEL 3 — COLLEGE STUDENT: proper terminology (each term glossed at first use), the why behind the mechanism, the main exception or edge case.
LEVEL 4 — GRAD STUDENT: the current debates, what the field got wrong before, quantities and
trade-offs.
LEVEL 5 — EXPERT: the open problems, the frontier, what would change the field if solved.
Rules: each level stands alone; the analogy from level 1 should echo at least once in later levels (continuity makes it memorable); at each level include one thing the PREVIOUS level oversimplified and gently correct it ("earlier I said X — that's almost true, but...").
End with: the one-sentence version someone repeats at dinner, and 3 sources to go deeper.
