Pear Deck

Pear Deck is an interactive presentation tool for teachers that turns ordinary slides into active lessons. It works as an add-on for Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint: you add interactive questions to your slides, present them, and every student answers on their own device in real time.

Teachers see all responses live on a private dashboard, so they can spot misunderstandings immediately and adjust the lesson. Question types include multiple choice, text, numbers, drawing and draggable answers, and student names can be hidden when results are projected so everyone feels safe to participate. A library of ready-made templates and AI-assisted features helps teachers create engaging questions faster.

Good fit if you: are a teacher who wants every student to participate, not only the ones who raise their hands.
Less ideal if you: need a full learning management system with grading and assignments.

Pricing: free basic version; premium individual, school and district plans add more features.
