Run a competitor teardown. My business: {WHAT I DO + WHO FOR}. Competitor: {NAME + URL}. I'll
paste what I can see of theirs below. Analyze in this order:
1. POSITIONING: in one sentence, what do they want to be known for? Who are they clearly NOT
serving? (The gap they leave = my opening.)
2. MESSAGE AUDIT: their headline promises vs. what customers likely actually buy for. Any mismatch is exploitable.
3. PRICING PSYCHOLOGY: what their tiers, anchoring and naming reveal about their target customer and margins.
4. FUNNEL: how a stranger becomes their customer — entry content, lead capture, conversion
trigger. Where does it leak?
5. MOAT CHECK: what would be genuinely hard to copy (brand, network, tech) vs. what just LOOKS
impressive.
6. REVIEWS MINING: from the review snippets I paste — the 3 complaints that repeat. Each one is a positioning gift for me.
7. THE THREE MOVES: (a) one thing to steal shamelessly, (b) one thing to do opposite deliberately, (c) one segment/message they've left open that I should claim this quarter.
THEIR MATERIALS (homepage copy, pricing page, some reviews): {PASTE}
