CoverUpInk is an AI cover-up tattoo generator. You upload a photo of a tattoo you want to cover, and it draws cover-up design concepts directly on your own skin, so you can see what a new piece could look like before you book an artist.

Each generation gives you three concepts plus clean linework you can take to your tattoo artist. You can choose a style, such as floral, black and grey, realism, Japanese or geometric, or leave it on auto. Examples on the site include a name script covered by a peony, a lower-back tribal turned into a mandala, and a wrist cross turned into a raven.

The site also has a free gallery of more than 300 cover-up ideas sorted by placement and style, and a guide that answers common questions honestly. A design is a concept: only an artist who sees your skin can judge whether it will cover the old tattoo, and a cover-up is usually 1.5 to 2 times the size of the original.

Privacy is handled well: uploaded photos are deleted after 24 hours, and your results are visible only to you.
